The Mechanical Designer candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and plumbing systems, with a particular focus on HVAC design. This role will involve collaboration with architects, contractors, engineers, and owners to ensure efficient building system designs.QualificationsExpertise in Revit and ACADStrong background in HVAC, mechanical piping and plumbing design, 5+ yearsExpertise in healthcare, commercial, and educational designsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (if applying for the position of Mechanical Engineer)ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed HVAC, mechanical piping, and plumbing systems design for healthcare, commercial and educational projects using Revit and ACAD.Collaborate with Architects, Owners, Civil, Structural, and MEP engineers to create integrated design solutionsPrepare technical drawings, schematics and specificationsParticipate in multidisciplinary project teams, contributing expertise across various engineering disciplinesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentEnsure designs meet project requirements, standards and codesReview and coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure design complianceStay updated on industry standards, codes and regulations
