Direct Counsel
is looking for an attorney of 3-5 years' experience in litigation, preferably in defense. Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background including trial experience in a first or second chair capacity in general civil litigation and have a desire to join a Litigation Practice. Qualified candidates must be highly organized, possess attention to detail, excellent writing skills and advocates for clients aggressively.Requirements:Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from inception to completionWork closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projectsPrepare pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions and briefs in support of defense strategiesProvide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, status reports and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issuesResponsible for the prompt, efficient and effective disposition of assigned casesIndependently prepares and presents witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations and mediationsQualifications:Motivated with the desire to achieve top level resultsThe ability to work well with a team as well as work well independentlyMust have a minimum of 3 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State CourtsCompensation:
