Principal Simulation Engineer

IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.   This role is open to a hybrid scheduleResponsibilities Include:Lead development of simulations and integration of models for cutting-edge autonomous aircraft and missile systemsDesign, build, and test comprehensive software simulationsCollaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracyOptimize simulation performance to drive real-time Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) testingMust-haves:Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experienceDemonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsThorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principlesStrong background in simulation software tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink)Experience in C++, Python, or similar languagesThe ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredThe ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required​Preferred:Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldExperience with AFSIM, STK, or similar DoD simulation toolsActive TS/SCI security clearanceUnderstanding of aerospace systemsIMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
