It’s a natural, exponential extension of the technology that Adobe has created over the past 40 years. At the heart of Firefly are our commercially safe generative AI models that are trained on hundreds of millions of visual contents owned or licensed by Adobe. We are hiring a Director of Product Management to lead the Adobe AI platform, spanning Data, Inference, and Training modules. The ideal candidate is a seasoned AI/ML product management leader with experience building a world-class platform empowering applied AI/ML researchers and ML engineers to train and deliver best-in-class models. They cultivate a fun, fast, inclusive, collaborative, empathetic, candid culture with their cross-functional partners. What You'll Do You will own the vision and strategy of the Adobe AI Platform as a self-serve Product to accelerate Adobe’s Gen AI offerings to our customers.   You and your team will define the platform's vision, roadmap, and quality. You will drive the prioritization of technical work together with engineering management and program management. You will work closely with our researchers, applied scientists, platform engineers, product engineers, executive stakeholders, and various teams to deliver a self-serve platform.   Articulate the vision in a way that resonates with diverse audiences, fostering a shared sense of purpose and direction. Lead a team of high-impact product managers to bring the vision, roadmap, and execution to fruition in long-lasting ways that reflect a deep sensitivity to customer needs, mentoring them to achieve excellence in the quality of PM artifacts (roadmaps, backlogs, PRDs) and data-driven decision making. Apply data-driven insights from market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to make informed decisions about priorities. Analyze the impact of the activities and refine them as needed to create an environment of continuous learning and iteration across the organization. Spot risks, find opportunities, identify competitive landscapes and emerging trends, and understand implications, breaking insights into pragmatic actions. Bring a combination of critical thinking and pragmatic delivery to yield the best short-term and long-term results through defined product requirements, prioritized features, and a competitive landscape. Drive a robust software development process that is agile, predictable, and results oriented. Evaluate and optimize organizational structures and processes for enhanced efficiency and agility. Champion a sense of belonging and purpose, encouraging a strong connection to the vision and mission. Encourage a culture of continuous feedback, both formal and informal, to support individual and team development. What's Needed to Succeed Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or related areas. Demonstrated product management leadership experience of 10+ years, including leading highly versatile and complementary teams of product managers. Experience with Generative AI and Cloud platform technologies.  Demonstrated excellence in customer insight, critical thinking, and product innovation. Ability to lead and influence others through technical excellence and stellar execution.   Track record of product roadmap definition and execution. An inherently collaborative and leading personality that enables you to win the hearts and minds of your peers to implement a complex product roadmap. Consistent record of building and leading hard-working teams. A sense of urgency and ability to act quickly and conclusively, possessing self-confidence to be assertive when taking a position and not afraid to make decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skills to influence at all organizational levels. Demonstrated experience working in a scaled, matrixed environment, collaborating across all functions, business units, and geographies. Shown success in driving positive cultural change and in fostering an environment where employees feel connected and motivated to collaborate. #FireflyGenAIOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $163,200 -- $324,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
