The emergency/critical care department at VCA ASEC (Animal Specialty & Emergency Center) would love to add a third Criticalist to our team! VCA Animal Specialty and Emergency Center (ASEC) is seeking a board certified or residency trained Criticalist to join our team of 3 other criticalist and specialists that include internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, radiology, and oncology. We offer exceptional service for our clients and our referring veterinarians, and promote a team mentality with a supportive work environment.We pride ourselves on nurturing a strong team mentality in a positive, cooperative work environment. Our ECC doctors are supported by an excellent, highly-qualified technical staff, a fantastic, hard-working client service group, and dedicated, experienced managers. We are interested in applicants with an interest in teaching, as we have a very strong rotating internship program as well as visiting extern students. Our hospital is located in beautiful west Los Angeles! VCA ASEC is just 15 minutes from the beaches, 20 minutes from hiking trails, and 90 minutes from winter skiing. The weather is outstanding with over 300 sunny days a year so there are plenty of recreational opportunities to enjoy when you are away from the hospital.  As one of the largest, most dynamic, and most culturally diverse cities in the United States, L.A. and the surrounding area is an amazing place to live and work. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $300,000.
