This is a full-time remote opportunity, however - we are seeking a candidate that is based close to a West Coast NV5 office (San Diego, CA; Irvine, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; Sacramento, CA; Long Beach, CA).ResponsibilitiesAs our Lead Structural Engineer PE, you will be hands-on with technical design of buildings projects, provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team, oversee multiple projects simultaneously including budgeting, scheduling, and client management & communication. You will also work independently and take ownership of our West Coast Buildings Group’s success. Attend project sites and client meetings.QualificationsIf you possess the following experience & qualifications, we encourage you to apply:B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred.Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of California. A PE license in the state of Washington is a plus.8+ years of relevant structural design engineering experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood).Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards specific to the West Coast, especially seismic considerations.Technical skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, RAM Products, ETABS, StructurePoint, ENERCALC).Knowledge of building codes and, standards and construction practices is required. Litigation experience is a plus. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.#LI-VO1#INDHPThe pay range for this California position is $145,000. To $175,000  annual salary; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162. Base pay information is based on market location.
