Come help us build DoorDash’s future! About the RoleAs DoorDash’s Manager, Talent Development - Manager Effectiveness, you will shape and deliver on the strategy to build manager effectiveness capabilities across DoorDash. You will build, scale and measure high-impact, enterprise-wide manager development solutions, partnering closely with talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion, HR partners and business leaders. You will report to the Director of Talent Development at DoorDash. We expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote, anchored to whichever corporate office you are closest.You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…Have end-to-end ownership of improving manager effectiveness at org-wide scale in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Build, scale and measure high-impact, enterprise-wide manager development solutions for our most critical talent needs, partnering closely with talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion, HR partners and business leaders.Drive consistency and quality in manager capability enablement across diverse orgs, functions, locales. Create solutions using a Product mindset: Customer-centric, focused on usability and impact, and adaptable to a fast-changing environment.Solve for designing a scalable development journey for critical moments in time across the Talent cycle, providing employees with what they need, when they need it Use data-driven insights to identify and prioritize needs; apply measurement strategies to make sure learning is “sticky”, measure impact on key people metrics (e.g. performance, engagement, retention). We’re excited about you because…You have 8+ years of progressive experience in manager effectiveness, learning and development, or talent development roles. You have proven experience in developing and executing manager development solutions at enterprise-wide scale in a global, fast-paced environment.You have excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, with a track record of designing and implementing successful learning strategies that grow and evolve with your business client. You have a strong understanding of the effectiveness of different learning modalities, including in-person and virtual instructor-led training, leader-led training, eLearning and microlearning, and AI-driven learning.You have proven expertise in program measurement and evaluation, including impact measurement, and developing new metrics/KPIs. You have demonstrated ability to drive change in complex, matrixed organizations.You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related fields. We expect this position to be filled by 11/26/2024.Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC OnlyWe use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT in NYC. Results of the audit may be viewed here: CoveyCompensationThe successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
