Come build your career with BAE Systems.BAE Systems is looking for a motivated, experienced Senior Software Engineer and functional manager who is eager to learn geospatial technologies. You will bring your strong technical background to our agile environment, working through the full software development lifecycle as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work in friendly collaboration with a talented team of on-site engineers to deliver high-quality software applications. Other incentives may be available based on position level and/or job specifics.#SWSDRequired Education, Experience, & Skills US Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI security clearanceBachelor’s degree in engineering/technical discipline, and 10+ year(s) related experience in Java.Experience in front end development using technologies such as React and LeafletFamiliar with software factories such as NGA Core or Platform 1Understand deployment of complex systems utilizing tools like docker, docker compose, Kong, kubernetes, and KeycloakKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines using gitlab pipelines integrated with deployment to openshiftTechnical management experience as a scrum master or IPT LeadInvolvement in Career development of junior engineers and managing performance of multiple engineersPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Highly proficient in Spring Security+ Certification.Strong understanding of REST interfaces and documenting interfaces using SwaggerScripting and common formats (e.g., PowerShell, JSON, XML).PostgreSQL database design and development..Experience with agile development and methodologies (e.g., SAFe)Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
