If you are passionate about making a meaningful contribution to some of the most significant games in the industry we’d love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesYour Daily Life at Bethesda Game StudiosAs Senior DevOps Programmer, you will…Be part of a small team that is responsible for running the AWS and Azure infrastructure for the development and production environments for Bethesda Game Studios projects.Design and develop continuous integration and deployment processes for applications running on native cloud virtual machines and managed Kubernetes services.Accurately estimate your schedule and deliver high-quality work on that schedule.Participate and manage a 24/7 on-call schedule along with colleagues. QualificationsWhat Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L.You have previous experience building and running distributed applications in AzureYou are an expert in Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian)You are comfortable writing code in PythonYou have strong experience using configuration management solutions (Salt, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)You have experience using source control for code management (Git, Perforce, SVN, etc.)You can write or modify large code changes that affect scripts and infrastructure codeYou are certified in Basic Security Principals in at least one cloud platformYou are certified in Cloud Account Administration in at least one cloud platformDuring on-call scenarios, you can identify root causes of issues and fix most issues independentlyYou proactively identify alerting trends and create development tasks to address those trendsYou possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsPreferred SkillsBonus SkillsYou have experience with AWS experienceYou have a passion for video gamesSalary RangeSenior DevOps Engineer - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 - $215,000 per year.ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.At ZeniMax certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, such as merit increases and discretionary bonuses.
