BHP of Central Ohio, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization that provides integrated mental health and addiction treatment services for youth, adults and families located in Licking and Knox Counties. It is our mission to improve and save lives by serving the healthcare needs of those who experience mental illness and/or addiction-related concerns.

BHP of Central Ohio is seeking a highly skilled, versatile Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all aspects of financial administration including short and long term budgeting, analysis and forecasting. As a collaborative leader, the CFO will work with and across all departments, the Board of Directors and the Executive Management team to develop and implement strategic recommendations concerning the financial well-being and growth of the agency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the completion of monthly financial dashboard and associated financial reports which accurately reflects expenses, revenues and accounts associated with the statement of financial position.
  • Manage the preparation of detailed financial information to the CEO, Board of Director and Committees.
  • Develop proposed annual operating budgets for the organization and revisions if deemed necessary by the Board of Directors.
  • Analyze performance of organizational product lines based on revenue, expense and production data. Make recommendations on program viability based on financial performance.
  • Oversee effective delivery of routine financial services and operations of the agency such as, but not limited to, payroll, cash management, cashiering, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger maintenance.
  • Manage all aspects of the Finance department including direct supervision of the Controller and Billing Supervisor.
  • Serve as a liaison to community partners and stakeholders.
Requirements for the positions include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or business related field required.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Management position with a behavioral healthcare, healthcare and/or non-profit corporation.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and financial planning skills.
  • Basic computer and typing skills are required for all positions. Proficient skills preferred in Microsoft Office.
