2025 Internship Program Dates: May 19, 2025 - August 1, 2025What an Operations Intern Can Expect:Industry Exposure: provided with comprehensive intern project and exposure to the poultry industry and understanding the operations and challenges of a top-performing poultry processing company.Skill Development: hands-on experience and essential skills that will provide a competitive advantage through mentorship and leadership development.ââââEarly Talent Cultivation: opportunity to create a foundation for future leadership. ââCultural Integration: become immersed in company's #AMAZING process focused, people culture.ââExecutive Leader Engagement: participation in Intern Showcase to present your project findings to company leaders.Candidate Requirements:âEnrolled in a college degree granting program (associate, bachelors, graduate).â Agriculture-related, animal/poultry science, industrial engineering, food science encouraged to apply.Must be at least 18 years of age.ââWhat Makes a Successful Operations Intern:âAbility to create and verbally present project outcome/ findings in a concise manner to peers, management and senior leaders.âAbility to collect and analyze data, formulating logical assumption or hypothesis, and develop long term solution/improvement based on the analysis.âAbility to be flexible, working non-standard hours as needed to collect data; may travel overnight occasionally.âMust have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.âSelf-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage tasks while maintaining attention to detail.âBuild relationships with mentors, peers, and professionals within the company to expand industry knowledge interpersonal savvy.âSafety Requirements:Follow departmental and company safety policies and programsMust wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required
