Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which may include working with and around large machinery, variations in temperature (non-air-conditioned work area), noise, humidity, and other hazards.

Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
The Packer/Tyer may perform some or all of the following duties during a given shift:
- Checking packing notes
- Lining carts with plastic
- Retrieves clean bundles by referring to packing notes and loads them in appropriate customer cart
- Demonstrates friendly and respectful behavior in the work environment
- Assist in any job duty that is needed or instructed by Management.
- Ability to read and write in English
- Quality orientation and high attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
- Strong teamwork skills- ready and willing to work closely with team members
- Open, and able, to work, day or night shifts, and willing to rotate shifts depending on production needs
- Open to long hours and working weekends (Saturday/Sunday) when necessary
- Pass a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Prior experience working in a plant environment
Physical Requirements.
- Physical demands include constant standing and frequent walking.
- Constant reaching above and below shoulder height, twisting, grasping items and work tools.
- Repetitive hand movement includes simple and power grasping, fine manipulation and picking up, pushing, wrapping, tying, and pulling items on a constant basis.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Required to wear and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Ability to hear for safety and awareness of surroundings.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.
