We are seeking an established Account Director who is looking to take their business to the next level and join an organization that is committed to their long-term success. This is a net new position designed to support our growth and aggressive investment in talent and capabilities.
Job Description:
As an Account Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities within your market segment. You will collaborate with our pre-sales and technical teams to develop and deliver comprehensive IT solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT services landscape, a passion for customer success, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, networking, and referral-based activities
- Establish and nurture relationships with top-level executives and key decision-makers within target organizations
- Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams to develop customized IT solutions that address client needs
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements to close deals and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely updates on account activities to senior management
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive insights, and emerging technologies to maintain a strong market position
Qualifications:
This role requires proven experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas in the IT market, ideally with experience selling to Public Sector organizations, including successfully converting new prospects into clients.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Familiarity with Cisco (and related ecosystem) products and solutions is a plus
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel within market segment for client meetings and engagements
