Experienced and newly trained doctors, MDs and DOs, are all encouraged to apply. This hospital is part of Maines largest healthcare system, ranked as one of Americas Best Large Employers for 2022.Join an outpatient Family Medicine group located right on the hospital campus. Come be a part of a dynamic team of providers that includes three family medicine physicians, two physician assistants, and a care support nurse, plus an exceptional support staff. Typical services here include physical exams, womens health exams, sick visits, well-child visits, school and sports physicals, and the management of chronic health conditions. Providers will occasionally make nursing home rounds. Blood work and lab services are on site. The practice also has a skilled licensed clinical social worker to help facilitate behavioral health needs for patients.Teaching opportunities arise when NP/PA students visit. Medical students and residents from Portland and Boston also rotate to the area. Enjoy a convenient 4 day/week schedule with phone-only call shared across several providers.
