We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our team of qualified professionals in San Diego, CA or Oklahoma City, OK. This is a unique opportunity to work in an embedded technology environment and develop software for real-time operating systems used in flight and mission-critical systems.About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing Java applications and working with a team of developers and integrators to deliver software products as part of an Integrated Flight Control (IFC) system.Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and deliver build/test/release software productsWork with object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, Web Services, XML, and related technologiesDevelop enterprise solutions for Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environmentCollaborate with team members on a regular basisRequirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in STEM with 0 years of related engineering experience. You should also have experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile software development, object-oriented programming, and software integration and testing.Apart from technical skills, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.Benefits
