100% Remote role. Our industry-leading client is seeking an SAP Project Manager. The SAP Project Manager's role is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes managing resources as part of those projects and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan and make them accountable.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $60 - $75 / hr. w2Responsibilities:Manage projects under his/her responsibilities from beginning to end following recommended methodologies including all well documented artifacts and deliverables.Good knowledge and expertise on the Agile project methodology: commitment to iterative and incremental development, scrum framework, sprint planning and backlog management to name some of them.Develop / manage / update full scale project plans with milestones, dates, ownersDefine project scope, goals and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashionProvide regular and concise communications reporting to our senior leadership composed of HR, DB&T and Finance membersMonitor performance of the team members and ensure tasks are timely completed and mitigation/recovery plans are in place when neededDraft and submit and track budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.Work with CORP DB&T leads and other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.Work hand to hand with professional services and vendors companies responsible for product(s) being implemented.Manage RAID (risk, action, issues, decision) log and manage completion and potential escalations.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.Manage the project and program governance (scrums, weekly meetings, operating meetings and steering committees)Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans including impact to business.Analyze current business processes and system functions with the objective of providing users with application tools to increase productivity and promote business objectives.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above - preference in business, IT, Finance , HRIS areaSAP Experience:
Helpful but not mandatory. The candidate should be comfortable working with SAP-related projects and teams.SaaS Experience : Should have experience with SaaS implementations and be able to interact with security and infrastructure teams.Agile Methodology:
Familiarity with Agile practices is important, as projects follow an Agile mindset, though not strictly.Industry Focus:
The role is within an industrial group, so experience in similar industries is preferred over finance or healthcare.Communication Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively with high-level business sponsors and teams across different locations.
