Engineering (A/E/C) Proposal CoordinatorProfessional ProfileThe ideal candidate is equally creative and organized and possesses project management, writing, and page layout skills. He/she is skilled in working with a team to formulate a pursuit's strategic messages. A successful Engineering Proposal Coordinator has leadership qualities and demonstrates a collaborative mindset, superior communication skills, problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and transparency. He/she is a strategic thinker and pushes the status quo for continuous improvement.

This is a remote position, and it is open to working from any location within the continental United States.

Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will manage Infrastructure market proposal development efforts in the engineering (roadway, highway, water-waste water, structural, etc.) field with responsibilities including but not limited to:Proposal Management: Facilitate proposal and/or prequalification kick-off meetings, define expectations, assign responsibilities, and manage adherence to proposal schedules; Lead the team in developing visual and written content for proposals; Draft/edit proposal narrative, ensure adherence to brand standards and procurement requirements, and organize proposals clearly and concisely; Schedule and facilitate proposal review meetings.Content Development and Maintenance: Develop, update, and maintain market-specific content, including project information and staff experience, using internal programs including, but not limited to, Adobe Design Suite, CRM and digital asset databases, and others as required.Opportunity Management: Assist in developing and managing the opportunity pipeline; Qualify potential opportunities to align with organizational goals.Post-Proposal Analysis: Participate in post-proposal debriefs to analyze strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.Client-Focused Presentations: Assist in developing dynamic and client-focused interview presentations.Vendor and Client Prequalification: Track and maintain government vendor and client prequalification schedules and processes for engineering services.Strategy Development and Collaboration: Facilitate team discussions to develop winning strategies at both project and market levels; Participate in market-focused activities to support business development functions.QualificationsEducation and TrainingBachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 3+ years of experience in the planning, preparation, and development of proposals in the A/E/C industry and qualifications packages for local, regional, national, and agency government clients, and as needed for other markets.Ability to understand and adhere to RFQ/RFP submission requirements and deadlines.Experience with Adobe programs including InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro.Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with proposal database software. AEC360 is preferred but not required.Interpersonal SkillsExcellent written and spoken communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.Strong collaboration skills, coupled with the ability to actively listen, to foster a positive and productive team environment.Organizational conceptual thinking to understand the broader picture and aligning tasks with overall organizational goals.Being a positive and reliable team player is fundamental, contributing to team morale and creating a supportive working atmosphere.Effective decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations, weigh options, and make informed decisions efficiently.Strong project management skills to encompass planning, organizing, and overseeing tasks to achieve specific goals.The ability to manage, organize, and prioritize project assignments to meet competing deadlines ensures tasks are completed on time without compromising quality.Working at HansonHanson will furnish all computer and audio/visual equipment to perform this position's duties.Requires occasionally working irregular hours/reasonable overtime to meet project demands.Position may require occasional travel.Benefits
