A solid backlog is in place to build from.Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

Ensures that the total effort for all projects is performed in a logical sequence and on budget; resolves conflicts and problemsEnsures that the firm meets agreed technical and performance standardsProvides the key liaison required between client and the firm and maintains client relationshipsDevelops and trains professional design and technical support staff in techniques required to upgrade their capabilitiesMonitors the manpower staffing and utilization of professional resources in relation to approved budgets, anticipated activity levels and competence and takes the action needed to ensure that projects are staffed and performance evaluated so as to meet future requirementsOversees project teams’ effort with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects, and with sub-consultants and subcontractorsProject cost reports and revises project programming to bring project within or under budget limitationsPreparation of proposals and presentations in any segment of the firm’s capabilitiesActively develops and maintains good client relations and performs follow-up on qualifying leadsParticipate in possible business development initiatives and effortsNurture client relationships, which include attending meetings, answering questions and/or providing resolutions to problems/issues that may ariseOther functions/duties as assigned to grow, enhance, and be a leader the MEP group.Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)

Qualifications

15+ years of relevant MEP engineering experienceBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer license required; ability to obtain a New Jersey PEExperienced in Design and Management of MEP engineering and knowledge of the design process from proposal through construction phasesPublic facilities project experienceHealthcare project experience a+Intimate knowledge of New Jersey Building CodesAble to work independentlyAble to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure and manage several projects at onceStrong communication skills and project level leadership skills with clients and teamExperienced in AutoCAD and RevitWe are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.Competitive Total Compensation PackageEmployee- Only Stock Purchase Plan (at introductory reduced rates)Mentoring programsContinuing Education ProgramEmployee referral bonusVolunteer/Industry association opportunitiesOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
