Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Risk Development team in Wilmington, DE as a Lead Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the implementation and optimization of credit risk strategies and models across both our proprietary platforms and external partner channels. You will leverage your technical expertise to translate complex credit risk models into functional code, ensuring seamless integration and accurate risk assessments.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with risk analysts and data scientists to translate credit risk intent and models into efficient and reliable software solutions in the Point-of-Sale/Lending spaceWork cross-functionally to identify new opportunities and improve current system capabilities.Communicate with business, technology, decision sciences and product to understand proposed changes and clarify, execute and troubleshoot deployments.Partner with third-party vendor partners for evaluating data/products and their integration into multiple platforms.Ensure efficient delivery of projects with utmost quality and meet/beat timelines.Develop testing & control procedures to ensure execution accuracy and effective post implementation monitoring.Continually assess and enhance the efficiency and scalability of implemented models and application logicRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in software development, preferably within the financial services or risk management industry focused on risk and/or compliance implementations4+ years’ experience in designing and developing data-driven solutions using Python and related frameworks, such as Django, Flask, or Fast APIProficiency in Git for version control and GitLab for collaborative development and CI/CD integrationProficient in Python and object-oriented programmingExperience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, preferably AWS)Experience in working with Credit bureau data, ML infrastructure, and Microservices architecture, and creating scalable and resilient applications leveraging containers and cloud servicesUnderstanding of software testing and quality assurance practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environmentWho We AreOneMain Financial (NYSE: OMF) is the leader in offering nonprime customers responsible access to credit and is dedicated to improving the financial well-being of hardworking Americans.
