We are seeking a Senior Ship Broker to be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, negotiating charter party agreements, and facilitating the transportation of liquid bulk cargoes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in shipbroking, strong industry knowledge, and excellent negotiation skills. This role requires a proactive approach to client management and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
*Senior Ship Broker Responsibilities*
* *Client Management:* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including ship owners, charterers, and operators. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
* *Negotiation:* Negotiate charter party agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for clients. Manage the entire negotiation process from inquiry to fixture.
* *Market Analysis:* Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, freight rates, and market conditions. Provide clients with up-to-date market insights.
* *Cargo Coordination:* Coordinate the transportation of liquid bulk cargoes, ensuring efficient and timely delivery. Resolve any issues that arise during the charter period.
* *Documentation:* Prepare and review charter party agreements and other necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
* *Business Development:* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base. Develop strategies to enhance market presence and increase revenue.
* *Team Leadership:* Mentor and support junior brokers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
