Job Description: Senior Business Analyst, Operations Excellence Reporting Location: Charlotte NC, Minneapolis, MN, or Laval, Canada Reports To: Sr. Manager Operations Excellence Reporting Job Summary: The Senior Business Analyst, Operations Excellence, will play a key role in supporting Circle K's Operations Excellence initiatives by building actionable reports and insightful dashboards, automating data workflows, analyzing complex sets of data, building databases, and providing strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical expertise and strong technical skills particularly in SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate and DAX, to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, automate reporting, and support data-driven decision-making. This role will also collaborate with IT to develop and maintain databases that support reporting needs and ensure the creation of reports that drive actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Senior Manager in developing and maintaining dashboards and building actionable reports that track main KPIs and drive operational improvements. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvements across Circle K's retail locations. Lead reporting development projects independently, working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights. Automate reporting processes and workflows to reduce manual efforts and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of data delivery. Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain databases that support reporting and analysis needs, ensuring data integrity and reliability. Design and develop comprehensive reporting solutions that provide clear, actionable insights to business leaders. Build predictive models and use statistical analysis to anticipate business needs and recommend strategies for enhanced performance. Regularly communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Utilize tools such as SQL, Excel, Alteryx, Power Automate and Power BI to streamline and automate reporting processes. Support ad hoc analyses for various operational initiatives and programs, assisting in decision-making and process optimization. Travel up to 10% for store visits, cross-functional meetings, or other business-related needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data analytics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in a retail environment. Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Alteryx, DAX, Excel, Power Query, Power BI). Experience with Alteryx, Power BI and DAX preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational efficiency. Proven experience in developing actionable reporting that supports decision-making. Experience in automating reports and streamlining data workflows. Experience collaborating with IT teams to develop and maintain databases. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
