Position Summary:This role will assist the Senior Project Leader in implementation of events such as, process improvement initiatives, data analytics, and reviewing key performance indicators.-Salary range - $66,900-$90,300KMajor Responsibilities:Develop & formalize project plans, complete with milestones, dependencies, tasks, proactive monitoring, and a recovery plan.Handles many tasks and assignments delegated by Senior Project Leader directly and ensures that there is regular communication with the Senior Project Leader to convey progress, inhibitors or roadblocks to the successful completion of events.Responsible for the overall execution of a project including the project planning and the coordination of all project activities to ensure that tasks assigned are accomplished on schedule. The project activities will include, but are not limited to requirements definition, managing effective relationships with the customer internal and external, IT and third-party vendors and project closure.Work collaboratively with field operations to identify inconsistencies and provide resolutions.Serve as the customer liaison when delivering a solution.Support improvements within the Operations Department.Create, implement, and manage change with a focus on satisfying customer needs.Organize initiative programs, which may include multiple major and minor projects and multiple cross functional teams in a single project simultaneously, while coordinating resources across the company and third-party vendors to effectively deliver a solution.-Identify inefficiencies and develop solutions to minimize or eliminate defects.Other projects as assigned by the Director of Operations and Senior Project Leader.Position Summary:Manage the implementation of an event such as a process improvement initiative, network redesign or systems deployment within Penske Financial and Operational Systems. Responsible for the formalization of a realistic timeline, complete with milestones, targets and identification of responsible parties. Handles many tasks and assignments directly, delegating as needed to other subject matter experts. Will ensure stakeholder and shareholder buy-in and facilitate regular communication to convey progress, inhibitors or roadblocks to the successful completion.Qualifications:1 to 2 years of Project Management experience preferredProject Management certifications preferredBachelor's degree required, advanced degrees or certifications preferredExperience providing senior management and the operations team with in-depth financial analysis of actual spend to drive insights on trends, investment areas and opportunities to optimize costs, driving better decision making - Strong analytical skills, written/oral communication and organizational skills are required as this position will have frequent executive communication and presentationHighly organized and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive as part of a financial management teamAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint requiredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the jobWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.Physical Requirements:-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
