Rates: $4000/dayOverview:
Facility is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Oncology Physician to provide locum coverage as the department transitions to a permanent physician. The role is based in an outpatient medical oncology setting and involves seeing new patient consults, formulating and initiating chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments, and collaborating with Radiation Oncology (on-site) and Surgical Oncology (off-site).
Coverage Dates:
Start Date: As soon as possibleEnd Date: TBDSchedule & Duties:
Monday-Friday: Clinic hours with availability for off-site consultation.Patient Load: 8-10 patients per clinic day.Duties Include:Seeing new patient consults.Initiating or completing staging workups.Formulating and initiating chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments.Collaborating with NPs, PAs, and other oncology specialists.Providing oversight of treatment delivery and infusions.Coordinating patient care across regional health systems when necessary.Required Procedures:
Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred but not required.Support Staff:
2 clinic RNs, 4 infusion RNs, 1 RN navigator, radiation oncologist, dosimetry, radiation therapy, dietitian, prior authorization specialists, patient advocate, financial assistance coordinator, scalp cooling, tumor registry.Credentialing Information:
Time Frame: Dependent on ND license and DEABilling Enrollment: Approximately 90 daysLicensure: North Dakota license preferredCertifications: BLS, DEA requiredRequirements:
