Delivery Driver

This position is essential for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. As a Delivery Driver, you will ensure that deliveries are completed accurately, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the right customer, with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely transport.The role is based at Store #7419, located at: 13489 W Interstate 10 San Antonio TX 78249.Key Responsibilities:Prepare deliveries to meet customer requirements efficiently.Properly load customer orders onto the truck.Complete necessary documentation accurately.Safely transport and deliver items to customers in a timely manner.Maintain the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance needs.Provide outstanding customer service, addressing any questions or complaints effectively.Follow assigned routes and maintain schedules.Comply with all transportation laws, ensuring a safe driving record.Prepare reports and documentation related to deliveries.Operate necessary equipment, including trucks and forklifts.Assist with other store tasks such as warehouse duties and customer service.Minimum Requirements:Must be at least 21 years of age.Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship for a work visa.Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) within five business days of receiving a conditional job offer.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.Preferred Qualifications:A High School diploma or GED.At least one year of experience as a delivery driver.Experience using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.Previous experience selling paint and related products.Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
