This role involves designing and managing enterprise data warehouse environments, with a focus on Greenplum, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server. The Architect will also work extensively within AWS environments and provide leadership in optimizing data performance for large-scale datasets.Key Responsibilities:Design data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses, focusing on high-performance architecturesExpertise with SAS, SAS Viya,Develop complex data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical modelsManage and optimize large databases with a strong focus on Greenplum, PostgreSQL, and SQL ServerUtilize advanced skills in Python and R for data manipulation, analytics, and machine learning tasksAutomate tasks with Linux shell scripting and SAS Viya, and ensure seamless code versioning with Bitbucket/GitSupport data partitioning, parallel processing, and MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) database configurations for high-volume datasetsLeverage AWS services for cloud infrastructure management, data security, and governanceBasic Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Doctorate may substitute for experience)Experience: 10+ years with databases, Python, and LinuxOnsite Commitment: Availability to work onsite 2 days per weekRequired Skills :Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and translating technical information for business stakeholdersProficiency in debugging and optimizing SQL queries, Python, and R scriptsKnowledge of data warehousing best practices and data governanceProduction experience with PostgreSQL and Greenplum databasesFamiliarity with data partitioning, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket)Experience with predictive modelling using Python and RExpertise with SAS, SAS Viya, Tableau, and multi-database environments
