VHS is looking for an OB/GYN in Lancaster, CA!
Program Details:
Patient Population: Serving an agriculture area. Of the 5000 total hospital annual births at least 750 to 800 are handled by our hospitalists.Current Stats: /mo 60visits/mo 180 (includes NP visits, doc sees 10-12 patients/session)visits/mo 177NICU Level IIIEMR: CernerShift Rotation: F/T on average 7-8 non-consecutive in-house shifts per monthDuties: High Risk Obstetrical ServicesRequirements:
California licensureBoard Certification with a minimum of 2-3 years active experiences.Hours: 10a-10aBoards: AOBOG, ABOGTB, Flu Shot, and Case Logs requiredResponsibilities:
Shifts are 24 hours in length, the provider must remain in-house during their shiftManage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the main ERProvide coverage of Obstetric emergenciesManage unassigned GYN patients that present to the Main ERTriage of all unassigned patients and for private physicians when requestedPerform Antepartum, Post-partum and GYN rounds on unassigned patients that are on the OB/GYN Hospitalist serviceInpatient consults
