(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway and grading design, site plan layout, zoning analysis, site stormwater management, utility planning and layout, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, site ADA complianceSupport coordination and presentation of submissions with local utilities, municipalities, environmental agencies, and town planning boardsPerform site investigations to observe and document existing conditionsComplete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specificationsSupport the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering servicesPerform construction inspections and provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projectsUtilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new constructionAttend professional industry functionsSupport the development of technical standards and mentor-ship of junior engineering staff
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering5+ years’ experience in Civil EngineeringNY PE requiredAbility to provide guidance to junior level engineersUnderstanding and application of code requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to multitask and consistently meet deadlinesAutoCAD and Civil 3D experience a requirement.We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.Competitive Total Compensation PackageEmployee- Only Stock Purchase PlanMentoring programsContinuing Education ProgramEmployee referral bonusVolunteer/Industry association opportunitiesOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
