Skills Required: Experience with mixed unit with Med/Surg & IMC patients. Intermediate Care RN - Ability to read/interpret cardiac strips, wound care, line management, drain/tube management, drip titration of below medications. Drip Titration: most commonly – Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (up to 5 mcg), occasionally esmolol drips (will train if traveler has not done these) or other Betablockers or other antihypertensives.*Floating: Will float where needed within (or below) their scope of practice. Most commonly to Medical (sister unit).
