Lead Software Developer

DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled software engineer to fill a lead role in our small development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, coding and implementation, system testing, and documentation generation. We require a problem-solver with strong communication skills who can collaborate effectively and provide innovative technical solutions. The role will involve regular interactions with teams across various time zones, so flexibility and excellent communication skills are essential. Travel for OCONUS deployments and upgrades will be required.Primary Responsibilities:Lead requirements identification and analysisCreate detailed design documentationDevelop and test software, including writing meaningful unit testsDrive changes to current Java infrastructureParticipate in code reviewsProduce deployable software components with associated deployment documentationSupport production systems and troubleshoot issuesTravel OCONUS 2 to 3 times per yearBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 12+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 10+ years of experience, or relevant work experience and certifications in lieu of a degreeActive TS/SCI With Poly clearanceProficiency in Java, Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, Wildfly, JavaScript, jQuery, Python/Perl, MySQL, git, Eclipse, Ant/Ivy/Maven/Gradle, and Linux (RHEL/Rocky)Original Posting Date:
