What's yours?Position OverviewUses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and enhance supply chain processes. Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support supply chain management, planning and Operations. Analyze the movement of material through the supply chain network, monitor current process, identify and analyze gaps and develop process improvements. Use skills in database, spreadsheet and data analytics to help the Supply Chain and Operations teams manage inventory turns, productivity, cost and service.What you'll doGathers and interprets data (cost, productivity, service, demand, performance, etc.).Investigates problems, finds root causes and develops solutions.Maintains departmental training materials.Develops performance reports and distributes to stakeholders.Provides analytical support for projects, new business, proposals and product launches.Manages supply chain optimization projects.Develops business specifications and coordinates with IT to develop data models and system solutions.Perform ad-hoc reporting to segment, categorize and analyze ERP/MRP data from SAP.Maintains a rigorous schedule to provide critical data to the organization for rapid decision making.Key contributor to weekly/monthly performance review meetings.Analyze key planning parameters within SAP MRP.Ensure reliability, integrity and accuracy of data.Participate in regular planning reviews and change processes and prepare data as required.Maintain SAP Analytics Cloud reports.Leverage various tools such as Power BI, R Studio to extract, transform and visualize.Interact with many levels of the organization to provide analytics, root cause and performance data.Oversee and collaborate with Buyers and Operations to improve performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop methods for tracking performance, service and other key measures.All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.
Who you areFive or more years of experience in data management and analysis.Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Management Info. Systems, Business Analytics)Exceptional ability to conceptualize large projects and foresee challenges that need to be addressed.Ability to develop and analyze complex spreadsheets (MS Excel, etc.).Expert understanding of analytical tools, MS Excel, Tableau, SAP Cloud Analytics, Power BI, MiniTab, etc.Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and inventory management.Solid understanding of MRP/ERP systems and master data needed to support planning.Operational and commercial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts, production, costs and order fulfillment.Ability to travel a must. (10%)Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to undertake complex analysis to create information from raw data and trends.Good communicator and the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally with Operations and externally with suppliers.
