The position:

The Assistant Community Manager will assist in overseeing day-to-day operations at one of our apartment communities. They are responsible for effectively computing, classifying and recording numerical data to keep financial records complete while assisting with the leasing, marketing, and resident relations for the community.

Responsibilities

Performs marketing and leasing functions to maintain budgeted or greater occupancy for the propertyImplements effective resident retention programs, such as move-in and service follow upMaintains good resident relations and the ability to respond to resident concerns to avoid escalation of the problemCollect rents and make daily deposits and reconciliations monthlyEnforce rent collection policyResponsible for processing invoicesMonitor renewals. Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.Prepare paperwork for move-ins in a timely manner and in accordance with the properties housing regulations and Roscoe's policiesProduce monthly reports for Property ManagerQualifications

Education & Experience:

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years tax credit experienceRelated multi-family property management experienceHUD rules and regulations, as well as policies and procedures of low-income housing programsExperience with OneSite software a plusStrong leadership and management skills are essentialAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsA current, valid Driver License is requiredPhysical Requirements:

May be required to sit for extended periods of time while working at a deskMay be required to climb stairsMust be able to read documents, computer screens and dataMust be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computerMay occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 20 poundsMust be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipmentWork Environment:

This role is based on site and requires that the employee spend time outside with exposure to the elements.May require working in confined spaces, heights and potentially hazardous areasEmployment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possession of a valid driver's license.
