(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).Please provide references upon resume submission.
Responsibilities
The Pre-Construction Project Manager will manage outside consultants to achieve design deliverable milestones.Read, review, interpret and comprehend designs provided by project design teamSupervise and review specifications and drawings as submitted by Architects and design personnelReview technical work of consultantsConfer with client agencies and contractorsSupervise consultant workMonitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the projectCoordinate and supervise complex architectural projects for new and rehabilitation of building plans and designsIdentify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary
Qualifications
Candidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldAbility to understand, review and approve design workExperience coordinating with designers handling any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facilityMinimum of four (4) years of experience managing multiple projectsMinimum of eight (4) years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projectsA minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a role of Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million, with an extensive knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documentsFull knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment applicationOur Culture:We believe in the power of collaboration.
