About the Role:
Generate new SBA loans through existing relationships with business professionals, outside marketing efforts and other business referral sources. Maintains a quality network of business relationships that serve as recurring sources of referrals for new SBA lending opportunities and growth for the bank that are primarily self-generated.
Perform marketing efforts to include outside direct calls, group presentations, direct mail campaigns as appropriate to achieve production goals.
Perform site visits on properties representing new loan requests as well as follow up on existing borrower properties.
Responsible for accurate and complete presentation of financial and background data on loan requests.
Oversee real estate market trends, prices, and lease rates to competently present loan for approval and to keep Bank advised of economic impacts.
Partner in the servicing and collection of loans in markets of responsibility as required by the Bank and SBA.
Monitor progress of construction projects which were generated.
Maintain an expert working knowledge of all SBA policies and SOP guidelines regarding eligibility.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

About You:
Bachelor's Degree in the field of business, accounting, or finance or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years of prior work experience asaSBA Business Development Officer with a proven successful sales track record.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Demonstrated ability to develop new and sustainable referral sources and generate leads.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to organize and prioritize, manage and perform multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented and able to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships.
Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is $108,000.00-$130,000.00and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The rolemay beeligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
