Summary:The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
The position will be responsible for the management of sales promotional expenditure for the Company, reviewing/submitting sales programs, performing the contract content review, and resolving financial and accounting issues. The incumbent will also be responsible for detailed expenditure tracking, budget/actual analysis, budget aging report and other various in-depth analysis reporting to senior managers and directors of the Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
Reviewing sales promotion investment activities, lead analysis and reporting for the company, which include review of customer and vendor contracts, and other internal/external reportsResponsible for managerial and internal use reporting on marketing and sales deduction transactionsReview reasonableness of marketing and sales deduction expense forecast and assist with forecasting processReview and submit sales and marketing programs for Company leadership approvalProcess and validate customer and vendor payments related to sales and marketing programsPerform rigorous analysis on historical promotional spend (sales, marketing, merchandizing), pricing, and competitive actions to help inform future activitiesAssist with ad hoc strategic projects, including planning, tracking, reporting, and documentation of all aspects of the projectsUtilize invoice data to project total cost of sale and marketing programs and evaluate versus budgetMaintain record of historical paymentsWork directly with customers to receive and process payments in timely manner according to payment terms outlined in MPA and meet internal Financial Aging KPIs

The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the companyThe ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projectsDemonstrated competency in oral and written modes for communication of marketing related information to both internal and external audiences at all levelsRead and interpret sales and marketing documents, invoices, contracts or related documentsThe ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within established time frames

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.Strong knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.

Education/Experience:

Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
