Summary
The Field Manager is responsible for route management, sales and service of customer's lawns, proper training and guidance of Field Technicians, and assisting in day-to-day operations of the facility.
Job DutiesDaily supervision of employee performance through check-ins, LQAs, and Field Safety ObservationsDaily oversight of production through route management, maintaining call logs, and customer communicationLead, train and motivate employees of various skill levelsIdentify training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needsCollaborate with the branch manager and other field managers to set performance standardsMaintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staffMaintain a cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, office, vehicles, and equipmentEnsure all vehicles and equipment are maintained and repaired in a timely mannerPerforms other related duties as assignedRequirements:
Required Skills and Education3 years of combined experience in the chemical lawn care field running a route, selling and or supervising employeesMust be very knowledgeable of the local turf types, weeds, insects, disease and maintenance problems. Tree and Shrub knowledge is desiredMust have excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skillsMust have effective and professional verbal and written communicationExperience working with technology, including Microsoft applications, requiredStrong ability to remain organized, multitask, and deliver results in a timely mannerMust be passionate about the Company's mission and able to promote and communicate the philosophy, mission, and values to external and internal stakeholdersPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50 pounds, with or without any accommodationAbility to be on your feet for 8 hours a dayAbility to walk on different terrainsAbility to drive a company vehicle with a valid driver's license and clean MVR
