Our Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy services to older adults (age 55+) under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist. This position will implement as directed, components of participant interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the participant as directed by the Physical Therapist and/or to ensure the participant's safety and comfort. The PTA will work with the team to develop group and individual programs for maintenance to our participants and will perform assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.Required Education:
Must be a graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).Required Experience:
One year working with the frail or elder populationRequired Certifications/Licensure:
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant indirect supervision license in the state of Pennsylvania.
