Summary:
Vivint Smart Home is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Product Manager - Growth to lead key initiatives aimed at driving revenue and enhancing customer experiences through Vivint’s mobile app. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the in-app shopping experience, enabling customers to seamlessly upgrade their systems with additional products and services. You will also oversee Vivint’s Refer-a-Friend program, driving new customer acquisition through innovative referral strategies. Additionally, you will manage cross-sell opportunities between Vivint and its parent company, NRG, leveraging the mobile app to deliver an integrated and value-added customer experience. Your efforts will directly contribute to Vivint's growth and customer retention, focusing on expanding the adoption of smart home and energy solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth by enhancing the in-app shopping experience, enabling upsells and upgrades for existing customers.
Lead and optimize the Refer-a-Friend program to boost customer acquisition through the in-app referral system.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and manage cross-sell opportunities between Vivint and NRG, enhancing the value of the mobile app experience.
Ensure the mobile app is a central platform for customers to discover and purchase new products and services, improving customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Establish a strong balance between discovering new product opportunities and delivering world-class product experiences
Distill complicated problems into simple, minimal solutions delivered through the Vivint mobile app
Write clear and concise user stories and requirements, prioritizing development items to align with the product roadmap
Pursue product and industry knowledge, identify trends and opportunities, and become a subject matter expert on mobile development, user experience, and data structures
Partner with our world-class User Research team to identify problems, test solutions, and learn about our customers
Advocate for the customer, and the business, through research, insights, and regular contact with our customer-base
Rapidly iterate product concepts through user testing, high fidelity mocks & prototypes, user journey maps, storyboards, and more
Collaborate with other teams to ensure product opportunities are highly valuable to customers, viable for the business, easy to use, and technically feasible
Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, program, and QA to ensure delivery against product roadmap
Build and maintain relationships across organization
Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements
Identify opportunities for customer testing and drive execution while measuring and reporting results
Partner with the GTM team to prepare operations, marketing, sales, supply chain, and support product channels for launch
Work with your product squad in ensuring product market fit for your suite of products and features
Required Skills, Experience & Education:
2-4+ years of relevant PM experience
Preferred Skills, Experience & Education:
Mobile app experience (preferred, but not required)
Master’s degree or equivalent work experience

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
