Camping World is looking for a Data Engineering intern for the summer of 2025 to work closely with the Data Management office. As an intern, you will assist with the daily operations and gain a first-hand Engineering experience. We are looking for someone who is driven, has experience in information technology, web development, software development and wants to be immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn, have a strong interest and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you.
Candidates must have the ability to work in our Chicago or Lincolnshire office on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days remote) for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2025.
What You'll Do:
Intern will partner with the DMO (Data Management Office) team which would include the following task/assignments.Data Engineering - engineering tasks which will require SQL and Snowflake skillsData Validation - comparing and verifying source and target dataBusiness Acumen - This would be a great opportunity to learn various aspects of automotive, retail and Digital business.Complete software development in collaboration with data scientists, data analyst, solution architects, data engineers, managerial and leadership rolesHandle new source data requests from the businessTake on individual special projects as needed to enhance your knowledge and skillsWhat You'll Need to Have for the Role:
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science or StatisticsCumulative 3.0 GPAA graduation date between December 2025-July 2027.Ability to relocate to Chicago for the summer term (June 9-August 15). Camping World does not provide relocation or housing stipends.Participate in Capstone Internship Project including a final presentation to Executive LeadershipSufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office: Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience with software and web developmentExcellent troubleshooting, data interpreting, and technical skillsKnowledge in Information technology (databases, system security, trouble shooting, etc.)Ability to maintain professional demeanor and strict confidentialityMust be diligent, organized, and extremely detail-orientedThrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentAnalytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and passion for data analyticsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic with research and note-taking skillsAbility to work in fast-paced environment with ability to multitask
Pay Range:$26.00-$26.00 Hourly
