Position Description:
Performs semi-professional work on various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established policies with latitude for independent judgment. Major/Essential Functions:
Supports the Service Plus philosophy of Texas Tech University Health Sciences, and personally demonstrates and acts in accordance with the TTUHSCEP values of accountability, respect, service, integrity, advancement, and teamwork.
Adheres to all institutional and departmental safety policies and procedures. Provides circulation services and record document delivery services.
Trains student assistants in daily operations.
Assists patrons with information requests.
Receives and records daily money transactions and opening/closing cash count for the MEB Library, when needed.
Technician for assembling the library equipment as received.
Deposits all required copies of print documents with the Texas State Library and Archives. This activity may include: managing, logging, copy editing, preparing, sending, and verifying receipt of records by the State.
Works on other library projects as assigned.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.
