Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a PRN Pediatric Intensivist to join the Division of Pediatric and Clinical Care Medicine.

Henry Ford St. John Hospital is located in one of the most desirable communities in Michigan. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is an 8-bed multidisciplinary unit dedicated to improving the health and safety of all children in Southeast Michigan. We serve patients primarily from Detroit as well as surrounding suburbs in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties. The PICU team provides care for pediatric medical and surgical patients. Pediatric subspecialty support is available in all areas: cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, endocrinology, surgery, ENT and others. The hospital is designated as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The division provides comprehensive critical care management to over 600 patients annually as well as sedation services. We are actively involved in pediatric resident and medical student education. Our pediatric residency program has the highest board passing rate in the country.

This is a PRN position. Competitive compensation is offered which includes malpractice coverage.

Qualifications:

A graduate of an accredited medical school and Pediatric residency program

Completion of Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship

BC Pediatrics and BE/BC Pediatric Critical Care

Licensed or eligible to obtain license with the State of Michigan
