Job Description
Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is looking for an Associate Sourcing Manager to join a fortune 500 heavy-equipment rental company to sit hybrid 2 days a week in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position will be responsible for managing sourcing for certain IT and Telecom categories. It entails conducting sourcing events, enforcing compliance, and identifying and realizing cost savings opportunities. On a day to day basis, 65% of the time will be spent establishing and maintaining constructive supplier relationships, spend analysis, performing market analysis, program improvement and acquisition cost reduction, developing category sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and performing RFI's, RFPs, and reverse auctions. 25% of the time will be spent leading supplier diversity programs, generating reports on quarterly spend, and other duties assigned as needed. Lastly, 10% of the time will be spent measuring, managing, and reporting on realized cost savings, supplier program compliance, service levels and category activity of key suppliers. In this role there is opportunity for growth and advancement with promotions into more senior roles within this field. At times some travel may be necessary, therefore looking for a candidate that is willing to travel when needed.
Pay: 67-112k

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
3+ years of experience in a sourcing position
Experience managing and maintaining supplier relationships
Experience negotiating contracts (Master Agreements, Scopes of Work, software orders and renewals, etc.)
Comfortable with occasional travel
Excellent cross collaboration skills and communication skills Plusses:
BA/BS Degree in related field such as Finance, Management, Operations/Purchasing or Accounting
CPSM/CPSD/CPM certifications or equivalent is desirable
Experience working in IT/Telecom industries null
