We have a great opportunity for a dedicated project management specialist to join our Product Development team in Marshalltown, Iowa!

This role is responsible for leading the planning and execution all key activities for new product development or other engineering related activities. By laying out a detailed project plan, communicating across the functional areas and driving progress, they will ensure on time completion and while maintaining a high level of quality. They will also be the focal point of contact for any project related issues, addressing them or advancing them across reporting lines as necessary.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Undertake leadership in specific projects, setting priorities and delegating responsibilities in order to ensure success of the project

Ensure effective communication across functional areas to ensure team members are well informed about project goals, activities, and priorities.

Motivate and assist team members to collaborate and work through challenges.

Plan, supervise and control project scope, cost, time, and resources by establishing and maintaining project timeline, budget and resource plans, hosting steering meetings and provide updates to senior leadership.

Continuously supervise baseline schedule, forecasted and actual cost, changes in requirements and take actions to adapt/correct as necessary.

Bring new innovation and approaches to continuously improve and optimize work practices.

For This Role, You Will Need:

A bachelor's degree in engineering or business is preferred, or 4+ years equivalent experience instead of a degree.

Solid track record in project management or technical leadership role.

Ability to work with different technical and functional fields, as well as being able to handle shifting priorities.

Ability to resolve issues, make decisions and provide advice and guidance to project team members and managerial staff.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

6-8 years of relevant experience.

Experience with Agile Product Development.

PMP® or similar project management certification.

Ability to mentor and coach other Project Managers
