In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of application support experience
Desired Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of Production Application Support processes, including ITIL methodology
Understanding of application environment implementations, including on prem, client server, on prem cloud (Azure or Pivotal Cloud Foundry), hybrid cloud and public cloud
Experience using and configuring Continuous Integration Continuous Deploy (CICD) tools including Jenkins, Aritifactory, Udeploy as well as Terraform
Experience with building Automation playbooks with Ansible or equivalent
Experience implementing application Observability through tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Elastic, BigPanda (AIOPS), Grafana, Microsoft Application Insights
Understanding and experience in implementing infrastructure and application resiliency – load balancers (F5, AVI) and data replication techniques
Experience supporting Java and .NET applications, RDBMS experience with Oracle and MSSQL; MongoDB a plus
Job Expectations:

Periodic availability for evening and weekend On-Call
Expectation of at least 3 days per week in office
