Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Software Developer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

Collaborates effectively with other team members.

Manages multiple tasks, prioritizes efficiently, and meets deadlines.

Adapts flexibly to shifting projects and evolving requirements.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Familiar with standard software development protocols and coding standards.

Contributes to application documentation, including system design and technical specifications.

Assists in developing project timelines based on platform-specific software development principles.

Required Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain one.

Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related disciplines, or equivalent technical training (can be offset with more experience).

At least 1 year of experience with foundational proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and additional relevant programming languages like HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Active IAT Level II certification; CompTIA Security+ CE highly preferred.

Exposure to Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab.

Ability to travel between customer and company site.

Desired Qualifications: ​

Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools such as Angular 2, Spring Boot, or similar.

Experience working in Linux (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux - RHEL) and Windows environments.

Basic understanding of secure coding practices and familiarity with tools such as Fortify Static Code Analyzer (SCA) or SonarQube.

Eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, Agile environment, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary Range:

$61,200.00 - $107,100.00
