**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in specialty required; Level 1 trauma experience required
**License:** Compact or State License required at time of submission
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, and Telemetry experience required
**Must-Have:**- Experience in acute progressive unit settings- Trauma/general surgery post-op patient experience- Experience with abdominal surgeries- Expertise in managing foley catheters, surgical drains, surgical oncology, wound vacs, ostomy, ports and PICCs, TPN, and lipids
**Job Description:**
- Work in an acute progressive care unit, managing heavy trauma and gastrointestinal post-operative patients.- Candidates will be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby.- Provide post-operative care for trauma/general surgery patients, with experience in managing abdominal surgeries.- Proficient in handling medical equipment and procedures such as foley catheters, surgical drains, surgical oncology, wound vacs, ostomy, ports and PICCs, TPN, and lipids.- Participate in a call schedule with response times required as specified.- Adhere to floating requirements, including assisting in the main Post Anesthesia Care Unit when needed.- Complete orientation and annual speciality modules as part of training and development.- Comply with vaccination requirements, with medical or religious exemptions as applicable.- Maintain a high standard of patient care within a Level 1 trauma setting.
