Job Title: Welding Administrative Assistant
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 11:00am (flexible schedule)
Pay / Hourly: $15.00
SUMMARY
As the Administrative Assistant to the Welding Technology Program at Mountainland Technical College (MTECH) you play a key role in helping the day-to-day operations of the department run smoothly by assisting the Program Coordinator with a wide variety of administrative tasks. MTECH tuition waiver is available after three months, to employees who work minimum of 15 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Tracking daily student attendance and progress in Northstar; updating student records in Canvas
AWS Sense program - help with student set-up and online tracking
Advisory Committee Meetings - help with preparation, set up, and record accurate minutes for each program meeting. Maintain and update advisory member lists, as needed
Answering phones, responding to voicemail, and maintaining email correspondence for the department
General office assignments such as filing, typing documents, making copies or scans
Creating, proofreading, and editing documents for the department
Assisting Welding Technologies Program Coordinator with accreditation tasks related to Welding Technologies
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from high school, plus two (2) years of specialized training, or an associate degree; AND, three (3) years of progressively responsible experience performing related duties; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
