This unique opportunity involves working closely with our team of seasoned attorneys, providing essential support in estate planning, trust administration, and related legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities of estate planning and medicaid, with a proven track record of 5+ years of experience in the legal field.Responsibilities:As a Paralegal - Estate Planning, your core responsibilities will include:1. Assisting attorneys with estate planning, trust administration, and medicaid planning.2. Drafting, reviewing, and amending legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.3. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various estate planning and medicaid issues.4. Coordinating with clients to gather necessary information and documentation related to their estate planning needs.5. Managing and organizing client files, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible and up-to-date.6. Liaising with court officials, other attorneys, and clients to schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and other appointments.7. Providing general administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, billing, and correspondence.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Paralegal - Estate Planning position will possess the following:1. A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in estate planning and medicaid.2. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent legal qualifications.3. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.5. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.6. A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.7. Knowledge of estate planning and medicaid laws and regulations.8. Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.9.
