Details Client NameSan Juan Regional Medical Center - HP Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyPACU Job ID29242401 Job TitleSan Juan Regional - Travel - RN - PACU / 8:30A - 7P Weekly Pay$2026.0 Shift Details ShiftDay - 10x4 - 09AM Scheduled Hours40 Job Order Details Start Date12/02/2024 End Date03/03/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:30 AM - 07:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must be from AHA) Must-Have: Trauma level recovery experience Job Description: - Work in a 198-bed trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites.- Serve the Four Corners region providing medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services.- Work in various specialty units, including a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology, pediatric, inpatient behavioral health, and day surgery.- Provide recovery care for General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, and Robotics.- Handle trauma level I and II procedures (excluding Open Hearts).- Manage a nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2.- Utilize equipment such as Mindray and manage patient records using Cerner EHR.- Be prepared for possible float to PreOp and/or Endoscopy.- Participate in call requirements during weekends and evenings.- Work with a mid to high acuity adult patient population.- Value continuous learning and skill development, particularly in Peds Dental recovery.The successful candidate will be joining a facility recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals with awarded accreditations in PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services.
