Cross Country Locums is actively seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for a rewarding Locum Tenens position in the heart of Texas.
Qualifications:Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (EM) or Internal Medicine (IM) with Emergency Medicine experienceResidency in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM), American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Board of Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (ABOEM), or American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) certified/eligiblePediatric Emergency Fellowship certification or eligibility.Must possess an active Texas medical license.Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred.
Clinical Environment:Campus with an annual volume of 29,000 and patient rate of 1.9 per hourER is a Level IV trauma centerSpecialty Backup available in various fields including Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, and moreFloor Codes managed by PICU team during the day; ER takes on codes at nightNo obligation to work with students in the program
Schedule:Shifts available: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM; 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM; 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM / Tue-Fri 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM; 6:30 PM to 6:30 AMFast Track system in placeAPP coverage from 10 AM to 5 PM and 5 PM to midnight
EMR System:MediTech
Compensation:$250 per hourIncludes travel expenses such as flights, lodging, and car rental.
Credentialing Time:Approximately 60-90 days
