We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented UCC Compliance & Junior Loan Closer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting loan closing processes. You will play a key role in managing UCC compliance while assisting in both pre-closing and post-closing activities for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans. Key Responsibilities: UCC Compliance (30% of Role): Analyze corporate formation documents and loan agreements to accurately identify legal entity names and collateral scope. Prepare and file UCC financing statements with appropriate governmental entities to maintain compliance. Proactively monitor UCC alerts, inform relationship managers, request document copies as needed, and follow up for responses. Oversee the timely renewal, continuation, and termination of UCC filings in collaboration with the legal department. Maintain organized records of UCC filings and communications on CT Lien’s website and address related queries and alerts promptly. Loan Closing – Pre & Post (70% of Role): Assist in reviewing loan documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to bank policies and regulatory standards. Support coordination of the loan closing process with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely closings. Help manage loan fund disbursement and ensure all transactions are documented in compliance with loan agreements. Support post-closing activities, including scanning, tracking documents, and addressing any outstanding post-closing items. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 3 years of experience in UCC compliance and/or loan closing processes, preferably within the commercial lending sector. In-depth understanding of UCC filing requirements, commercial loan documentation, and loan closing procedures. Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework of commercial lending is essential. Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Proficiency with loan processing software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
